Appalachia b
From Appalachia to Appalachicola

Painting at the Carolina Gallery of Fine Art titled: From Appalachia to Appalachicola and posted today especially for John Spohrer, whose daily postings of his photos keep me in touch and inspired with my beloved St. George. All the plant life in this painting I find on the island. Some here in the mountains where the mica originates and makes its way the sparkle the sands of the Florida Gulf coast.
